Investor Visas E-2 & EB-5

The E-2 visa and the EB-5 visa offer investors ideal opportunities for relocating to the United States.

Invest in Your American Future

For entrepreneurs and investors, the United States offers two powerful immigration paths: the E-2 Treaty Investor Visa and the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program. Choosing the right one depends on your nationality, capital, and long-term goals — and that is exactly where strategic legal guidance makes the difference.

E-2 Treaty Investor Visa

The E-2 visa allows nationals of treaty countries to live and work in the U.S. by making a substantial investment in a U.S. business they own and direct.

  • No fixed minimum investment — the investment must be substantial relative to the business
  • Renewable indefinitely while the business remains active and operating
  • Spouse receives work authorization; children may attend U.S. schools
  • Fast processing compared to most immigrant visa categories
  • Ideal for startups, franchises and acquisitions of existing businesses

EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program

The EB-5 program offers a direct path to a green card (permanent residency) for investors and their immediate family.

  • Minimum investment of $800,000 in a Targeted Employment Area (TEA), or $1,050,000 elsewhere
  • Must create at least 10 full-time jobs for U.S. workers
  • Investment can be made directly in your own business or through an approved Regional Center
  • Green card for you, your spouse and unmarried children under 21
  • No sponsorship, language or education requirements
E-2 or EB-5? Many clients start with an E-2 visa and later transition to permanent residency through EB-5 or EB-2 NIW. We design the full roadmap with you from day one.
